The FSC has an immediate opening for the position of Business Process Expert.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Documentation and optimization business processes to ensure effective and efficient service delivery and the integration of processes with technological platforms and tools, to ensure full value maximization and alignment of processes, technology, data and systems within the broader ecosystem of the FSC. This includes ensuring processes promote efficiency, harness key capabilities, manage risks, enable compliance and generate value against the FSC’s mandate including both supervisory processes core enterprise processes. The incumbent will also play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of SupTech, aligning the FSC’s processes and supervisory needs with platform development.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Documents current processes and assesses requirements for transformation and future state operating model of the FSC. This includes conducting relative gap analyses and diagnostics to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborates with IT Department to ensure process improvement efforts are aligned with technology adoption and full integration can be achieved.
- Designs new and updated processes which address stakeholder needs manage risks, increases effectiveness and efficiency and achieves the intended process maturity.
- Develops a framework to measure process effectiveness and efficiency to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
- Lead the development of operation manuals to strengthen sustainability and knowledge transfer.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to develop process enablement tools which promote process adoption and compliance across the organization.
- Align business processes with risk management strategies to ensure that regulatory risks are effectively managed and mitigated.
- Track and measure process performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies for ongoing optimization.
Educational Requirement (s)
- Master’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Engineering or related field.
- Lean Six Sigma certification is considered an asset.
Required Experience and Skills
- 5+ years of experience working in process engineering, continuous improvement and/or process risk auditing.
- Direct experience leading process (re)design as part of technology and systems integrations.
- Prior business consulting experience is considered an asset.
- Experience working with other regulators or financial institutions is considered an asset.
