Business Intelligence Analyst

Position Overview
The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for creating, maintaining, and publishing various reports to provide actionable insights. You’ll collect and analyze both internal and external data, identify trends, and communicate findings effectively to support data-driven decision-making. Reporting to the Group Manager, Business Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the organization’s performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Reporting (Monday to Friday):
- Update and ensure accuracy of key daily reports
Weekly Reporting:
- Generate comprehensive weekly reports
- Analyze sales, market trends, product performance, and promotion outcomes.
Monthly Reporting and Analysis:
- Conduct COGS and margins analysis to identify gaps and discrepancies.
- Update recipe files across all markets and review QSR Price Review files quarterly.
Data Management:
- Maintain and design data collection models for inventory and sales tracking.
- Create and maintain documentation, including requirements, design documents, and user manuals.
Ad Hoc Reporting and Analysis:
- Support QSR stores, Accounts, Operations, Marketing, and other Group entities with routine and ad hoc reports
- Perform weekly analyses to identify top and bottom-performing locations, employee trends, and food cost insights.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence.
- Proficiency in data modeling, data visualization tools, and reporting software.
- Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with accounting and inventory systems is an asset.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
