As a Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client's retail agent network. This position calls for a proactive individual who thrives in dynamic environments and is driven by achieving targets. You will identify and recruit new agents across North, Central, and South Trinidad within a specified timeline. Join us for the opportunity to work with a dynamic team on an impactful project.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Prospecting and Recruitment:

Actively identify and engage high-traffic retail businesses that meet the client’s agent criteria.

Deliver persuasive presentations to potential agents, highlighting the benefits of the partnership.

Onboarding and Activation:

Distribute marketing collateral and signage to new agents.

Coordinate with the client’s team to ensure smooth training and onboarding for recruited agents.

Facilitate the setup process to ensure ease of adoption for new agents.

Relationship Management:

Build strong relationships with newly recruited agents to ensure satisfaction and a positive experience.

Gather feedback from agents to inform strategy improvements.

Performance Reporting:

Track recruitment activities and outcomes against targets.

Collaborate with the Project Coordinator to provide the client with regular updates and progress reports.

Requirements:

 

Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.

Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Excellent presentation and communication abilities.

Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

Possession of a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle (required).

Familiarity with the retail sector in Trinidad and Tobago is an asset.

Educational Requirements:

 

Diploma or Associate Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field

 

Additional Considerations:

A combination of education and proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field will also be considered.

Compensation:

 

A competitive base salary of $4,000 per month.

An attractive commission structure with unlimited earning potential.

Travel Allowance
