BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth for the company. The role involves market research, strategic planning, lead generation, and collaboration with internal teams to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and referrals.
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to expand market presence and increase revenue.
  • Conduct cold calls, meetings, and presentations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreements with clients and partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
  • Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Analyze industry trends, competitor strategies, and market conditions to identify growth opportunities.
  • Gather customer insights and feedback to improve products, services, and business strategies.
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align business strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of business deals.
  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and revenue growth.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies accordingly.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Knowledge of the industry and market trends is an advantage.
