Job Summary:
The Business Development Officer will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of PeoplePlus. This individual will identify and develop new business opportunities, build and nurture client relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent networking skills, and a deep understanding of HR and business support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Acquisition and Retention:

    • Identify, prospect, and secure new clients for our HR and business support services.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
  2. Sales and Revenue Growth:

    • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets aligned with the company’s growth goals.
    • Prepare and present customized proposals to potential clients.
  3. Market Research and Strategy:

    • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor offerings, and potential opportunities.
    • Develop strategies to position PeoplePlus as the preferred choice for HR and business support services.
  4. Networking and Partnership Development:

    • Represent PeoplePlus at networking events, conferences, and trade shows to increase visibility and brand awareness.
    • Build partnerships with complementary businesses and organizations.
  5. Collaboration and Reporting:

    • Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role (experience in HR or business support services is an asset).
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
    • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
