Reports To: Senior Business Development Team Leader

 

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in expanding our distribution network and driving growth for our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with distributors, major retailers and partners and developing strategies to increase market share and revenue.

 

Responsibilities:

 

-       Identify and prioritize potential distribution and retail partners and opportunities for expansion into new markets.

-       Develop and implement strategic plans to acquire new distribution channels and grow existing partnerships.

-       Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, retailers and suppliers when necessary.

-       Collaborate with internal teams to develop pricing strategies, promotional programs, and sales materials to support distribution efforts.

-       Lead negotiations and contract discussions with distribution partners, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.

-       Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.

-       Analyze sales data and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of distribution strategies and identify areas for improvement.

-       Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on distribution activities, sales performance and market trends.

-       Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends in distribution and logistics.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, brand or distribution management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the distribution industry.
  • Strong understanding of distribution channels, logistics, and supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with partners and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-driven approach to achieving objectives.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Valid US Visa or ability to attain US Visa
