Provide technical support to the Group and Regional Companies by designing and implementing analytical reports and scorecards as well as training the end users.
The Business Analyst is responsible for being the vital link between our information technology capacity and our
business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing and
deployment of accurate information to assist in closing and surpass the gap between business strategy and execution.
Further to assist in ensuring adherence to appropriate processes for proper accountability, that facilitates timely and
most cost-effective customer service with no risk to operational efficiency in a manner that inspire and delight Blue
Waters customers.
Key Result Area: Maintaining the Internal Sales, Ordering and Distribution System & Database
· Verify Customer Data Base is up to date and correct.
· Carry out final quality checks before new or updated customer data is entered, inclusive of geocodes and addresses and return documents to Sales team for correction, if required.
· Update Channel Based Pricing Plans and conduct tests to confirm the updates were registered in the system. Notify and engage IST or external consultants of any system failures/issues.
· Advise key stakeholders of implemented/ approved Channel Based Pricing Plans in a timely manner.
· Review and ensure the Commission Plan is approved, up to date and correct for all channels of business.
· Implement systems to monitor and control, all customer, commissions, and pricing data within the system
· Provide technical assistance and help build the team’s competence in navigating Excel, GP and BOARD
Key Result Area: Tracking Measures and Problem-Solving
· Troubleshoot issues with the selling platform (ASKI) and BI reporting tool (BOARD) and follow up with the respective consultants on the corrective actions.
· Monitor, record and analyze the frequency of the similar disruptions with ASKI and BOARD, notify the respective stakeholders and make recommendations for improvement.
· Monitor and control all pricing data and generate a Net Pricing Exception Report, highlighting any discrepancies and required corrective action to the Sales team.
· Participate in problem solving initiatives to resolve current issues and enhance the operations ASKI, Board and GP.
· Execute on action plans developed following problem-solving meetings which includes creating reports (automated or manual), making system updates and training end users.
Key Result Area: Reports, exception reporting and scorecards
· Validate the data in ASKI and BOARD by cross referencing the information against data in BI reporting tool (Tableau) and or GP smart list. Liaise with IST and/or CRG to rectify the issue.
· Create Exception Reports using data mining and analyze the various sales patterns from brands, promotions, customers and provide information to key stake holders.
· Generate Exception Reports where the data is readily available from GP and include in the BOARD reporting tool.
· Generate Exception Report with statistical data on external Companies (competitors) with data provided by key stake holders.
Requirements and Knowledge
· Minimum of a Degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
· A minimum of 8 years’ continuous experience in a similar role
· Knowledge of Trinidad & Tobago's geography and road network would be considered an asset
· Certification in Statistics or Data Science
· Certification or Experience in Business Intelligence Software
