Business Analyst

Main Purpose of Job:

The Business Analyst shall be a detailed planner, technical and detail oriented with good communication skills, committed to the discovery and development of innovative solutions in a dynamic team. The incumbent shall analyze, evaluate, and refine processes to develop possible successful outcomes for key executions. Upon data reconciliation and technical review, the analyst shall share strategic initiatives for improved business efficiency and productivity. The analyst shall assess how the department is trending internally, determine improvement progress and perform reviews based on findings shared from audit reports.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Partner with stakeholders across business units to develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with managerial and executive teams.
  2. Creates and implements precise management plans for key projects, with attention to transparent communication at all levels.
  3. Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  4. Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  5. Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  6. Allocating resources and maintaining cost efficiency.
  7. Managing and developing activity plans and monitoring performance.
  8. Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  9. Works with company staff and management to contribute to the strong internal control environment.
  10. Uses business analytic tools and software to explain statistical data.
  11. Communicates key decisions and action items.
  12. Budgeting and forecasting where necessary.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or Business Management related field.
  2. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in management with data analyses and report writing related functions.
  3. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in business continuity projects and audit-related corrective actions.
  4. In-depth understanding of the business structure and the contribution of each department to the organization’s development.
  5. An equivalent combination of both experience and qualifications will be considered in lieu of minimum qualifications.

  2. The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  3. A track record of following through on commitments.
  4. Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills.
  5. A history of leading, developing and supporting critical business continuity projects.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills, data analyses and data presentation.
  7. Business case development and solution planning.
  8. Ability to conduct cost/benefit analyses.
  9. SAP & Success Factors functional knowledge for leave allocation and succession planning analyses.
  10. Ability to work in a multifunctional team environment.
  11. Competent in MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  12. Ability to maintain confidential information.
  13. Highly motivated, proactive and professional with acute attention to detail.
