Business Account Executive

The Business Account Executive, reporting directly to the Business Development Sales Manager in their assigned markets will be responsible for generating revenue growth by selling the suite of Yello Media Group digital marketing solutions to clients within assigned regions. The BAE will manage existing customer accounts as well as develop and close business to new client opportunities as well as develop strategies
for winning back sales.
This growth is expected to be derived from multiple-channel marketing solutions being positioned with existing as well as new advertisers. They will be responsible for adapting to new sales processes, tools, products, and reporting requirements in line with the company’s transformation efforts. They will be responsible for reporting on their sales initiatives and results to their direct manager as well as the SGSM and Director of Sales as needed.
In this role, BAEs are expected to ensure targeted sales objectives are met and exceeded within the prescribed timeframes measured by given benchmarks and set deadlines. They will be expected to execute the prescribed sales strategies and activities rolled out by the sales leadership geared towards meeting their revenue, product and pacing targets.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Tertiary level qualification in Marketing or a related field.
  • Three to Five years’ experience in a sales or marketing-related field role Certification in digital marketing e.g., IAB, Google Advertisements, Facebook, Blueprint or HubSpot would be an asset.
  • Must be willing to keep current with industry changes and required certifications.
  • Additional relevant sales and marketing certification.
  •  Knowledge of products and services offered by Yello Media Group.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suites.

  • Ability to work with other team members and departments to achieve sales targets and department goals.
  • Must be able to work independently in all areas of job function.
  • Must be adaptable and able to thrive in an environment with shifting priorities and time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Strong ability to respond positively to pressure, prioritize and balance competing requests.
  • In-depth knowledge of all Products and Services offered by the company.
  • Proven knowledge of digital landscape and trends.
  • Must be highly skilled in proposal creation.
  • Must be able to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to converse and deliver presentations to clients at varying levels, all the way up to a board of directors/c-suite members.
  • Technically proficient in, knowledgeable of, and quick learner of CRM, campaign management, and marketing analytics tools.
  • Passionate about digital marketing and the digital media space.

 MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales revenue targets.
  • Drive Digital revenue growth from assigned and prospected leads by face-to-face or another approved sales methodology.
  • Provide frequent activity and sales reports as agreed with the manager.
  • Must maintain a monthly pipeline which shows forecasted incoming revenue for each month.
  • Provide feedback to the manager and Products Team with developing digital products or improving offerings based on client feedback.
  • Interpret digital advertising campaigns to make recommendations for improvement and to prove ROI.
  • Complete sales pitches to clients Medium and Blue-chip clients.

 SPECIAL CONDITIONS ASSOCIATED WITH THE JOB:

  • Normal working environment
  • May be required to work outside of normal working hours.
  • Will be required to make customer visits.
  • Must have access to a reliable motor vehicle.
  • Must be willing to attend team meetings as needed, in the office or otherwise.
