The Brand Manager is responsible for executing the marketing functions of their respective pharmaceutical brands, ensuring the development of brand building activities for the product or products being managed

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement appropriate strategies by selecting, segmenting and targeting markets, promoting product and services to those markets.
  • Lead creative development and stimulus for products in order to accomplish sales targets and ensure consistency with product line strategy.
  • Monitor product distribution and consumer reaction.
  • Measure the success of marketing campaigns and report the performance of all marketing campaigns against set goals.
  • Monitor market trends, provide market intelligence on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure island wide product visibility.
  • Communicate with Principals and submit monthly report on product movements.
  • Participate in trade fairs, conferences and symposiums whenever necessary.
  • Coach and motivate sales personnel to achieve objectives.
  • Aid the Management Team in developing and implementing appropriate strategies to grow by selecting, segmenting and targeting markets, promoting product and services to those markets.
  • Assist the Sales and Marketing team in formulating commercial plans for products being managed.
  • Provide market intelligence on an ongoing basis.
  • Conduct comparative competitor study and recommend changes to ensure that products remain competitive. 
  • Undertake marketing audits to monitor sales performance.
  • Conduct research, analyze data and provide information to management for decision- making.
  • Prepare presentations for customers and sales team on products being branded. 
  • Ensure product visibility in designated locations and communicate product information to the relevant personnel.
  • Supervise promoters promoting products during in-store promotions.
  • Communicate with Principals and submit monthly report on product movements.
  • Participate in trade fairs, conferences and symposiums whenever necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A first degree in Business Marketing, Management or related field, 
  • At least five (5) years in sales and marketing Brand Management

REQUIREMENT

  • At least 3 years experience in Fast Moving Goods environment
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours
  • Must be willing to travel island-wide
  • Must have a valid drivers' license and own and operate a reliable motor vehicle
