Brand Marketing Coordinator

Position Brief

 

As a Brand Coordinator, you will support Executive Management with day-to-day client relationships and project management to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

We are looking for an experienced Brand Coordinator to help us build our brand and raise brand awareness. You will work with us in refining and perhaps reimagining our brand and maintaining it through the implementation of marketing initiatives. You will work across all levels and departments of our organization to find what makes us unique and communicate it to the world. You will collaborate closely with Managers in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple projects and priorities. It’s imperative that you are meticulously organized, adaptable, and relentlessly passionate about producing work that people will love, whether it’s a full video commercial or an email blast. You’ll be the gatekeeper in ensuring everything that goes out our door is buttoned up, on-brand, and hits our targets. We are looking for an excellent collaborator and communicator to assist us in creating advertisements that strengthen our brand identity while completing research into industry trends and demographics.

If you are a hyper-organized self-starter that can adapt quickly, ask the right question at the right time, create a spreadsheet on the fly, find a misplaced comma in a haystack, and elicit spontaneous trust-falls from any Brand Manager in the office, this is the job for you.

Major Responsibilities

Our Brand Coordinator will be responsible for developing custom marketing and advertising strategies, creating designs/layouts of media outlets, writing pitches and blog posts to various audiences, as well as advising Executive Management on the costs associated with branding. They are also tasked with managing relationships with our Social Media Marketing Company and other relevant parties to ensure brand consistency across multiple channels.

The Brand Coordinator is responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing projects with external contractors e.g., graphics designers, printers etc., and ensuring that Company messaging remains consistent across all channels. Analytical thinking is also important because it helps make data-driven decisions based on what really matters.

Brand Coordinators are the people who shape a Company’s outward image. To do that, you’ll need to uncover consumer insights and deliver innovative marketing campaigns. We’ll turn to you to learn what can attract our customers and prospects and how we can improve customer experience.

Communication Skills

Our Brand Coordinator has skills in communication and relationship-building with customers. They have strong written or verbal abilities so that their feedback can flow effectively throughout the organization; relentless focus on finding new business leads from social media sites as well as other marketing channels.

Position Description Specific Responsibilities

  • Analyze current brand positioning and consumer insights
  • Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies
  • Lead creative development to motivate the target audience to “take action”
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs
  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities
  • Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities
  • Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions
  • Devise innovative growth strategies
  • Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices, and tactics.
    • Executes Brand positioning and Brand plans which integrate various consumer needs with approved Marketing strategies.
    • Develops relevant brand strategies to support growth including product launches, seasonal campaigns, physician meetings, and innovative means of promoting our brands.
    • Prepares the quarterly marketing plan in line with the Company’s overall strategy, which includes development of objectives and implementation of plans to increase brand awareness, increased sales, and market share.
    • Manages and reports on brand expenditure to the budgets agreed by Executive Management
    • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports on the assigned brands based on set KPIs.
    • Supports requests from Customers requesting branded windows in their businesses.
    • Manages all brand content for social media, websites, and newsletters.
    • Develop monthly social media calendars and publishes events and services for the brand.
    • Develop presentations on products and services used to train staff and that are used to help drive business.
      • Leads in the undertaking of consumer research and evaluation of competitive products / pricing / promotional activity to identify and exploit new / key trends.
      • Other related duties as required by the function.

 

 

Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Academic/Technical Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business or Marketing preferred
  • Certification in sales, marketing, and project management preferred.
  • Certification in Graphics Design would be considered an asset.
  • Understanding of the Pharmaceutical Marketing Industry in Trinidad and the Caribbean would be a definite asset

Experience

▪      Five (5) + years working experience within Marketing & Communications or Brand Management preferably in a related industry is preferred but a combination of Education and Experience will be considered

    • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns.
    • Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind.
    • Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers
    • Outstanding communication skills
    • Up to date with latest trends and marketing best practices
    • Ability to work under pressure.
    • Must own a vehicle and be able to drive across Trinidad and Tobago as needed to visit Customer locations.
    • 5% related and unrelated duties as required

 

 

Compensation:                         Commensurate with Experience
