Bearer

This position is responsible for collecting and delivering documents/items to their designated drop-off points, quickly and in good condition.

Bearer – Motor Bike

We are looking to hire a physically agile and efficient Bearer. The successful candidate should be people oriented and possess a valid general driver's license or License to ride a bike and have knowledgeable of the Road Code Act and traffic patterns.

Main Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver packages.
• Processing of documents at the various institutions in the shipping industry
• Conduct transactions with the banks on behalf of the company.
• Conduct transactions with the Tax Administration of Jamaica
• Maintain an accurate logbook of deliveries and pickups.
• Understand local delivery areas and traffic patterns.
• Assist with logistics activities.

Requirements:

• At Least 4 CXC subjects or a high school Diploma
• Minimum of two (2) years bike courier experience/riding a motor bike.
• Minimum of two (2) years customer service experience
• Valid driver's or motor bike license
• Knowledge of the Road Traffic Act of Jamaica
• Critical thinking skills
• Oral and written communication
• Time management skills
