The Bartender will receive orders of beverages from guests and servers, followed by mixing the cocktails and serving the drinks correctly. The proper handling of guest checks, cash and charge settlements is also of the utmost importance.
Responsible for correct mixing of drinks. Following recipes and using a measure at all times
Responsible and liable for all checks issued.
Preparing the check, ensuring it is correct and presenting it to the guests.
Performs all aspects of self-cashiering, including prescribed cash and charges. Handling procedures, proper guest check accounting and handling following prescribed procedures.
Responsible for stocking necessary items and equipment used at the bar.
Responsible for filling all requisitions for needed items (liquor, food, paper products, etc.) for next day business.
Responsible for cleanliness of bar area (including counter top, shelves, utensils, glasses, etc.), proper storing and displaying of liquor bottles and glassware.
Proper completion of assigned daily side work tasks.
Knowledge of facilities and operations of the BEYC F&B department.
Performs any duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Cutting fruit and preparing garnishes
Setting up bar.
Picking up bartender’s bank.
Serving cocktails to guests and food and beverage servers.
Cleaning bar after shift.
Continuous cleaning throughout shift.
Checking if all liquor was delivered – ensure that par stock levels are in control and monitored
Making cash drop to the Accounting office.
Pick up requisitions from storeroom.
Assist serving guests in other departments as needed.
Wash glassware and bar utensils
Sweeping and mopping of floor.
Perform any other reasonable food and beverage-related tasks that may be deemed necessary as directed by the Supervisor.
Strong communication skills needed, well presented, possess a positive and congenial attitude, a sense of urgency, able to have moderate recall and enthusiastic. Have full understanding of cash handling policies and procedures.
