 SUMMARY OF POSITION: 

Provide friendly, quick and responsive service to create an exceptional dine-in experience for all our guests.                   

 DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Welcome and greet guests. Make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know you’re there to personally take care of them.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the Restaurant’s standard drink recipes
• Clear and set bar counter area.
• Inform guests of daily specials and menu changes.
• Present food and drink menus and make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
• Have an intimate knowledge of the menu and menu preparation so that you can answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our point-of-sale system.
• Promptly report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to Restaurant Manager.
• Assist in the restocking and replenishment of restaurant and bar inventory and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant and bar including tables, chairs, counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, floor and storage areas
• At the beginning to end of each shift all workstations MUST be kept as per Public Health standards.
• Complete shift work and assigned side duties, timely and thoroughly in accordance with company standards.
• Be ready and willing to assist fellow co-workers as situations arise.

 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• CSEC or O’Level in Math & English
• Prior experience in a similar position will be an asset
• Any certification in the Hospitality Industry will be an asset.
• A valid medical certificate of fitness
