POSITION SUMMARY 

As our Business Co-Pilot, you will be responsible for providing insight and strongly supporting a fact-based decision-making process, based on current business environment & specialist financial knowledge, challenging new strategies & new projects, as well as the status quo. 

A DAY IN THE LIFE … 

  • You will actively participate in the strategy development and provide associated scenario planning to optimize shareholder value
  • You will work closely with Decision Support and Control in order to provide a high-quality data / timely framework, in addition to reliable measurement of selected key KPI's
  • You will ensure quality financial information is used by the business for decision making and that potential risks and opportunities are anticipated and understood and promote the use of external & internal information for benchmarking
  • You will review monthly performance and identify areas of risk to achieve targets, forecasts, develop and follow up action plans
  • You will be a key player in the Monthly Business Planning Process (esp. MFR & DCP), providing transparency and direction towards target achievement at any time in the process and facilitate the Dynamic Forecast process
  • You will analyze and challenge factory performance based on key indicators (variances, level of fixed cost, etc.) and promote the culture of Return on Invested Capital / ATR on CAPEX related topics (whenever relevant) including Post Evaluation of Capex proposals
  • You will analyze and challenge product portfolio to identify cost optimization opportunities, eliminate Value Destroyers and maximize the return on investment from TTS/PFME (including revised pricing structure/prices) and from the capital asset base
  • You will support Business Innovation and Renovation pipeline including development of Manufacturing and Sales & Distribution structure modeling and follow-up 

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL 

  • You must have a First Degree in Business / Finance and/or Accountancy Qualification
  • You must at least 11 years’ experience in Accounting / Finance (e.g., Sales, Factory or Supply Chain Controller)
  • You must have at least 5+ years’ experience in an FMCG industry
  • You must have prior experience in managing teams and liaising with Senior Leaders
  • You must have experience within a network organization (internal and external stakeholders)
