WORKING CONDITIONS:

PURPOSE OF JOB:

  • Develop and maintain a good balance between volume sales and our members and a create loyalty towards our business, by ensuring a good selection of merchandise and offering the best services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Keep members updated with changes in price, availability of merchandise and new products.
  • Organize and facilitate lists of Purchases or requisitions, promote the sale of complete container (With Management approval)
  • Follow up with declining members reflected in the Membership Top 300 Report”
  • Be aware of current on hand inventory on the Top 10 items. 

AS AN EMPLOYEE OF PRICESMART, THE INCUMBENT OF THIS POSITION HAS THE RESPONSIBILITY TO:

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR FORMAL TRAINING, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum two (2) years of university-based studies in Business Administration or similar areas. Degree preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in similar role, preferably in the retail environment.
  • Ability    to    communicate    effectively    and    demonstrate teamwork.
  • Excellent math skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Knowledge in Windows operating system and AS400.
  • Proficient in English and/or Spanish languages (verbal and written).
  • Travel, as required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

OTHER TASKS:

  • Be aware of the competitive pricing in the market.
  • Visits members 60%-80% of the time.
  • Attain sales quotas and attract new members in order to achieve the Company’s goals.
  • Track Top volume shopper sales via a monthly sales report based on performance.
  • Create a weekly working plan and maintain a record of the daily and weekly visits.
  • Determine the needs of the members through personal contact, making at least 4 daily visits.
  • Generate and revise reports for the Department, when required.
  • Supervise on-time delivery and receiving of merchandise.
