Job Title: Aviation Security Agents

Longport Aviation seeks to identify suitably qualified candidates to fill the role of Aviation Security Agents at its Sangster International Airport, Montego Bay location.

Job Description:

The Contractor will provide the following Services at the Airports:

• Perform the specific functions to provide for the security of the passengers, baggage, aircraft, facilities, supplies and flight documentation as required.
• Security of baggage make up area.
• Screening of baggage and/or cargo when required.
• Custody and aircraft search inspection (internal and external).
• Access control to the aircraft interior and air operations are (AOA – Ramp), performing pat down search to the ground staff including air operator, ground handling and Longport personnel accessing these areas.
• Custody of aircraft that remain overnight or flight cancellations.
• Deliver the required information to the air operator, operations departments or dispatch.
• Escort passengers, when required

Educational Requirements:

• A minimum of four (4) CXC or City Guilds Or Heart Trust NTA /NCTVET certifications 
• No experience necessary as training will be provided  
• Must be Flexible to work on weekends and public holidays
• Must be computer literate
• Must be able to stand for extended hours
• A Police Record will be required
• PSRA license (would be an asset);
