Associate and Senior Associate - Auditor with SOX Experience

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Associate and Associate with SOX and Audit experience to join the BLEWSTREAM ECOSYSTEM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing Internal Controls: Ensuring that the company’s internal controls over financial reporting are effective and compliant with SOX requirements
• Testing Controls: Developing and executing test plans to assess the effectiveness of internal controls
• Documenting Processes: Documenting the company’s process flows, policies, and controls to ensure transparency and compliance
• Evaluating Financial Reporting: Assessing the accuracy and reliability of financial statements and disclosures
• Identifying Risks: Evaluating risk management processes to identify potential areas of fraud or misconduct
• Maintaining Records: Verifying that records are maintained and retained for an appropriate period as required by SOX
• Supporting Compliance: Assisting in the development and implementation of compliance programs to meet SOX requirements

 Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA CPA or CMA certification preferred
• Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in audit, with at least 4 experience years in accounting
• Knowledge of SOX Requirements: In-depth understanding of SOX compliance requirements, including internal controls and financial reporting standards, gained through hands-on experience or formal certification such as the Certified Sarbanes-Oxley Professional (CSOXP) is ideal
• Risk Assessment: Ability to identify and assess risks related to financial reporting and internal controls
• Highly articulate with excellent communication skills
• Required Software: Proficiency in Excel, Word and Microsoft Office
• Ideal Software: Hands-on experience using compliance software, such as AuditBoard, Onspring, Diligent HighBond, Pathlock, or Vanta is ideal
• Legal authorization to work in Trinidad and Tobago
• Available to work full time Monday through Friday
