Assistant Warehouse Manager

The Assistant Warehouse Manager is responsible for supporting the Warehouse Manager and Leadership Team by completing administrative functions. He/She is responsible for leading a team to ensure that the receival and dispatch of items are conducted properly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

To manage the staff of the warehouse in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.

To monitor warehouse staff appraisals and to do regular on the job training excercise.

Responsible for training and approving company Lift truck operators

To keep proper records of all stock inventory of the warehouse from Raw materials to finished goods.

To monitor all forms of warehouse recievals from the stores coming into stock and out to production.

To monitor products moving out of warehouse stock to delivery.

To carry out stock count excercise with the logistics and accounts department.

To handle the ordering up of input materials for production

To work closely with the production department in arranging daily production plans.

To work closely with the logistics department to arrange for goods to be shipped out, meeting sales demand and the utilizing of warehouse staff on trucks.

To keep in dialogue with contract bottler customers and monitor their outstanding balances of goods ordered.
