Assistant Superintendent -Cemetery Operations

The fundamental purpose of the Assistant Superintendent is to ensure burial procedures are followed to prevent mistakes and problems and to ensure that quality and compliance guidelines are achieved on all interments, inurnments, cremations and columbarium niche installations . The incumbent will also be responsible for overseeing Security related matters and operations, including contracted security officers and in-house watchmen.  

(a)      Specific Knowledge:

• Knowledge of Cemetery Operations would be an asset.

(b)     Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Tertiary Level Education
• High School Diploma with passes in English Language and Mathematics
• Certificate in Supervisory Management or Level 3 NVQ-J Certificate (Desired)
• 4-5 years’ experience as a supervisor

(c)      Required Skills and Specialized Techniques:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
