We are looking for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team.

The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining high food quality standards, and managing staff to achieve operational efficiency and profitability. This role is ideal for an individual with strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, who is passionate about the hospitality industry.

  • Operational Management

    • Assist in managing day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and compliance with company policies.
    • Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to maintain brand standards.
    • Monitor and manage inventory, including ordering supplies and controlling waste.
  • Staff Supervision and Training

    • Support recruitment, training, and scheduling of restaurant staff.
    • Supervise team members, provide constructive feedback, and ensure a positive work environment.
    • Address staff concerns and resolve conflicts professionally.
  • Customer Service

    • Maintain a welcoming and high-quality dining experience for all guests.
    • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and effectively.
    • Ensure restaurant cleanliness, ambiance, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Financial Management

    • Assist in managing budgets, cost control, and financial reporting.
    • Monitor sales, prepare reports, and contribute to strategies to increase revenue.
    • Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving profit and loss targets.
  • Compliance and Standards

    • Ensure the restaurant complies with local health, safety, and labor regulations.
    • Enforce policies and procedures for food handling and employee safety.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management (minimum of 2-3 years preferred).
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficient in restaurant management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations effectively.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
