The Assistant Manager - Reporting is responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely preparation, analysis, and submission of reports to support decision-making and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.

 

Supreme Ventures Services Limited a subsidiary of Supreme Ventures Limited is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager- Financial Planning Analysis and Reporting to join our dynamic Finance team.

The Assistant Manager - Reporting is responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely preparation, analysis, and submission of reports to support decision-making and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements. This role involves collaborating with various teams, maintaining reporting standards, and identifying opportunities for process improvements.

 

The incumbent will be responsible for :

  1. Report Preparation and Analysis
  • Prepare, review, and distribute regular and ad hoc reports, ensuring accuracy and relevance to stakeholders.
  • Analyze data trends, generate insights, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and external regulations in all reporting activities.
  1.  Process Management
  • Develop and maintain reporting templates and dashboards for efficient data presentation.
  • Streamline and automate reporting processes to enhance productivity and accuracy.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports to meet deadlines and support strategic planning.
  1. Collaboration and Communication
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data for reporting purposes.
  • Provide insights and explanations to stakeholders regarding key metrics and reports.
  • Train team members on reporting tools and best practices, as needed.
  1. Quality Assurance
  • Monitor and validate data integrity across all reports.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure reporting accuracy and adherence to standards.
  • Address discrepancies or issues in data promptly and effectively.
  1. Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to enhance reporting systems and methodologies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to improve reporting capabilities.
EDUCATIONAL AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Post-graduate degree from a recognized tertiary institution or recognized professional certification in Accounting or Finance
  • Chartered or Certified as professional accountant by recognized body, e.g.. ICAJ, CA, CPA, CGA
  • At least five (5) years’ experience in financial reporting, including preparation of IFRS-compliant financial statements, consolidation accounting, reporting complex financial transactions
  • Experience in tax planning and financial management
  • Experience using SAGE 300 is considered an advantage
  • Effective people management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • At least five (5) years' experience in a related area within Finance field
OTHER SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
  • Accounting for complex transactions including mergers and acquisitions
  • Expert in application of IFRS and preparation of IFRS-compliant financial statements
  • Excellent communication skills including oral, written, and presentational
