Assistant Maintenance Manager

The Incumbent is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Manager in overseeing the maintenance operations of the company.

The Incumbent is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Manager in overseeing the maintenance operations of the company. The incumbent will also assist in ensuring the repair and maintenance of the hotel’s physical assets in order to keep the hotel in compliance with the government requirements and the hotel’s policies/procedures. 

• Support the Maintenance Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.
• Assist in conducting preventive maintenance programs to ensure the hotel's physical assets are well maintained.
• Ensuring the timely completion of maintenance task.
• Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisors to ensure daily and weekly tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner.
• Schedule and distribute all preventive and corrective maintenance work according to the policies and procedures established by the hotel.
• Trains and provides knowledge to staff members to optimally carry out their jobs.

Requirements

• Degree or certification in Engineering or a related field
• Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Supervisory experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
