We are seeking an experienced and skilled Housekeeping Assistant Manager to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will assist the Executive Housekeeping Manager in overseeing the maintenance of all hotel facilities, ensuring exceptional standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
General Objective:
The main objective of the Housekeeping Department is to maintain the cleanliness, surveillance, and maintenance of all hotel facilities.
Responsibilities and Roles:
- Act as substitute for the Executive Housekeeping Manager as needed
- Supervise and coordinate the cleaning of floors, public areas, internal areas, linen, and laundry
- Select and procure maintenance and cleaning products for daily use
- Conduct regular inspections of areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance
- Participate in cleaning tasks as needed
- Monitor room occupancy and status
- Prepare and submit reports and statistics related to housekeeping tasks
- Maintain control and delivery of "lost and found" items
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or a related field
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness and maintenance
- Ability to prepare and submit reports and statistics
