ASSISTANT FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER 

The assistant food and beverage manager is responsible for assisting the food and beverage manager with directing and organizing the operation of all F&B outlets. He/she ensures high levels of customer satisfaction and established standards are maintained regarding food quality, timeliness of delivery and overall Sequence of Service

Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include:

• Assisting with operational oversight of all food and beverage outlets.
• Ensuring compliance with brand standards.
• Monitoring departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures.
• Evaluating guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills are required to guide the department to excellence.
• Partnering with the Executive Chef to familiarize team members with new menus, enabling them to offer recommendations and provide product details

Qualification and Experience:

• College or university degree in hospitality management and/or equivalent experience/education.
• A minimum of three (3) years’ progressive experience in food and beverage management in a first-class hotel, at least one (1) of which in the position of food and beverage manager.
• Food Handler’s Permit
• Computer literate with knowledge of computer applications and software.
• Up to date with food and beverage trends and best practices.
• Guest-oriented and service-minded.
• International experience would be an advantage.
• The ability to work under pressure
