We are seeking an Assistant Entertainment Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entertainment department, day to day operations, in the absence of the Entertainment Manager.
  • Master of ceremony skills with the ability to utilize friendly, modulated and clear speech on the microphone.
  • Manage, monitor and supervise all entertainment working spaces, including but not limited to, backstage, storage rooms entertainment offices and all performance areas.
  • Liase with partnering departments on activities in advance for early set up for any and all activities.Follow up and ensuring the proper breakdown and storing of equipment.
  • Motivate and inspire team members through leadership and by setting the example.
  • Ensure that departmental checklists are adhered to by team members, with continuous follow up on inventory numbers.
  • Work alongside team members during socialization with guests, and execution of daily and night time activities.
  • Assist with managing event budgets.

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Assistant Entertainment Manager role or similar position within the hospitality industry.
  • Education: A degree or equivalent; in Entertainment management or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Language: Proficient/ Advanced English, Fluent in Spanish, Bi/Multilingual.
  • Customer Service Skills: At least 1 year of experience in an Asst. Entertainment manager role or similar role, demonstrating a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Proven experience in supervising and managing a team in a fast-paced environment, including delegating tasks, providing training, and handling staff scheduling.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve guest complaints efficiently and professionally.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
