Assistant Driver/Warehouse Assistant

Assist with delivery and monitoring of stock, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, and assisting with the daily delivery of products to customers.

Job Summary 

• Pick up lodgement books and cheques from the bank and other entities when required.

• Complete drop offs to banks and other entities when required.

• Assist with the delivering of company products when required.

• Assist with the receiving, loading, unloading, counting and stocking physical inventory in the warehouse

• Package and label products to be dispatched

• Ensure items billed on the customer’s invoice is exactly what is packaged for delivery.

• Assist with the islandwide delivery of the company products to customers on a daily basis.

• Arrange and organize products in the warehouse

• Communicate and collaborate with other team members

• Maintain safe and clean working environment

Job Requirements:

• Five (5) CXC subjects inclusive of Mathematics and English Language with a minimum of two (2) years experience as a driver 

• Minimum one (1) year experience in warehousing or related position;

• Must possess a valid general driver’s license, able to drive vehicles up to 4000 KGS.

• Knowledge of Jamaica's roadways and Road Traffic Act and Regulations Jamaica

• Must be able to communicate well with customers

• Must be a team player

• Ability to work flexible hours

• Physically fit and able lift over 50 pounds on regular basis

• Pleasant personality, good communication, interpersonal, organizing, and time management skills.

• Has a keen eye for details
