Assistant Commercial Analyst

A large distribution company is Kingston is seeking an Assistant Commercial Analyst.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the analysis of product margins by Category, Customer base, Channel and Sales Region.
• Review profit margins and make recommendations
• Calculate ROI of Trade and Marketing Investments
• Analyse salesforce costs, commissions, discounts, and expenditure Prepare customer/channel contribution statements.
• Prepare business cases for potential sales and trade opportunities Generate data of monthly sales targets and achievements
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to provide Finance support for monthly and quarterly plans and reviews.
• Assist in the preparation of price analyses and simulations

Qualifications and Experience:

• BSc in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Accounting or equivalent
• 1-2 years in a similar capacity
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Working knowledge of Power BI and SQL an asset
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
