LASCO Distributors Limited, a marketing and distribution company within the LASCO Affiliated Companies, seeks the services of suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of: 

Assistant Commercial Analyst

Job Summary:

The Assistant Commercial Analyst will assist with the provision of data which will aid in decision making in the areas of pricing, discounts, margin analyses, trade and marketing expenditure.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of price analyses and simulations
• Assist in the analysis of product margins by Category, Customer base, Channel and Sales Region.
• Review profit margins and make recommendations
•  Calculate ROI of Trade and Marketing Investments
• Analyse salesforce costs, commissions, discounts, and expenditure
• Prepare customer/channel contribution statements.
• Prepare business cases for potential sales and trade opportunities
• Generate data of monthly sales targets and achievements
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to provide Finance support for monthly and quarterly plans and reviews.
• Any other related duties assigned by the Commercial Analyst.

Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Financial Management;
• A proven track record of delivering results in complex conditions;
• Three (3) years’ experience in cost accounting and/or control or a related field.

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent capability for quantitative analysis
• Strong analytical and organisational skills
• Able to work effectively on multiple concurrent tasks and projects
• Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with staff of varying technical expertise.
