The Role
The JN Group Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Audit Manager to drive quality audit processes across our diverse portfolio. This role supports the preparation of our annual strategic audit plan, ensuring all audits meet established standards, timelines, and budgets.
Responsibilities
- Develop, schedule, and execute audit engagements as per the annual audit plan.
- Supervise and support the remote audit team, monitor engagement budgets, and ensure quality standards.
- Coordinate virtual meetings with key stakeholders and provide regular status updates to management.
- Submit draft audit reports, manage post-audit reviews, and ensure adherence to JN Group’s audit standards.
- Coach and onboard new staff, identify training needs, and create development plans to address skill gaps.
- Stay updated on internal policies, industry changes, and relevant regulations.
Key Requirements
- Pursuing or in possession of ACCA Level III, CPA, CIA certification, or equivalent postgraduate degree such as MBA/MSc.
- Minimum 3 years of auditing experience at a supervisory level, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of audit tools, data analytics, and reporting skills.
Special Skills/Qualifications
- Familiarity with JN Group’s operations.
- Proficient in audit tools and techniques, including data analytics.
- Strong report writing skills, with an emphasis on clarity and accuracy.
Performance Goals
- Complete assigned audits on time, meeting quality benchmarks.
- Deliver regular progress updates to management and submit draft reports promptly.
- Conduct staff engagement evaluations within 5 days post-assignment.
