This position supports the Senior Accountant and is responsible, under the direction of the Senior Accountant, and Manager Finance Facilities and Accounting for the implementation of payroll, financial record keeping and internal controls.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

           

  • Processes payroll, gratuity, final and any other related salary payments on a timely basis.
  • Ensures that year-end information is accurate and then prepare year-end documentation to be delivered to staff and the relevant statutory bodies in accordance with established deadlines.
  • Prepares invoices for clients as requested.
  • Ensures that the relevant Audit Schedules are prepared.
  • Support to the Senior Accountant.
  • Responsible for all bank transfers.
  • Processing of all foreign payments,
  • Processing of per diem for Foreign and Tobago travel
  • Assisting with processing online payments
  • Any other related duties.

KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Professional Accountancy qualifications such as ACCA or CA and at least one year’s post graduate experience or
  • Level II ACCA with three years experience
  •  Demonstrated ability with accounting spreadsheets and packages
