ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Assistant Accountant is accountable for the delivery of assigned day to day financial duties.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your primary duties include:

1. Assisting with the preparation of selected financial statements
2. Preparing Daily Cash Management Reports
3. Preparing Monthly Bank reconciliations
4. Preparing and coding Cheque Disbursement vouchers
5. Preparing Monthly Financial Schedules
6. Maintaining Fixed Asset register

QUALIFICATIONS:

• The successful applicant should be the holder of a good undergraduate degree –in an Accounting or suitable related discipline
• A minimum of Two (2) years’ experience in a similar capacity
