Assessment and Monitoring Officer

The Assessment and Monitoring Officer (AMO) is responsible for managing the administrative and operational functions of all aspects of admission and assessments for certification in the TVET programmes. The AMO will ensure quality delivery of services, accuracy, confidentiality and quality of data and the integrity of the assessment and certification processes, thereby assisting in providing a pool of certified and competent workers.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Receives, Evaluates and Process applications for assessment;
  • Schedule and Communicate assessments;
  • Coordinate external assessments;
  • Create cross-functional pathways with Campus registrar 
  • Coordinate the periodic review of test items and rubrics to maintain relevance and integrity of the assessment process;
  • Conducts external and internal moderation and validation exercises;
  • Evaluate enrolment, completion and certification data;
  • Validates information management system data;
  • Execute activities to ensure accreditation of programmes; 
  • Ensures corrective/recommendations from audits are implemented;
  • Ensures confidentiality and integrity of the operational and functional duties;
  • Ensures the quality, accuracy, security and confidentiality of all records;
  • Screen applicants for the PLAR activities and execute orientation 

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Technical Vocational Education and Training.

Experience

  • Training in Supervisory Management; 
  • At least three (3) years’ experience within a CBET environment;
  • Training in assessment and records management processes;
  • Demonstrated understanding of and experience in assessing learning needs.

Annual Emoluments

Salary                       -          USD38,788.00 Per Annum

Transport Allowance   -           USD1,200.00 Per Annum

Telephone Allowance -           USD1,200.00 Per annum

Housing                    -          USD10,200.00 Per Annum
