We Are  Hiring: Area Coach

The Area Coach provides direction, coaching, support and know-how to restaurant management by developing and planning effective strategies to improve the restaurant operations in the market; thus ensuring total customer satisfaction and strict compliance with the company’s operational standards.

 Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works with management to develop unit-specific Annual Operating Plans.
• Calibrates and role models a passion for winning in the market by executing all operational standards through the use of the balanced scorecard.
• Coaches and drives excellence around core operations procedures.
• Partners with HR to ensure effective execution of training and staffing requirements.
• Provides hands-on training for management staff when new company initiatives are implemented.
• Holds team accountable by using the performance management process and the disciplinary procedure.
• Goes for breakthrough results by analyzing the financial performance of the assigned area.
• Ensures restaurant level plans and marketing initiatives are in place and being executed correctly.
• Ensures food safety standards are met through direct observation and periodic restaurant audits.
• Drives a customer-focused culture, serves as a role model in resolving customer and team member complaints, and trains the management team to meet or exceed customer service standards.
• Oversees development and revision of weekly management schedules. 

The ideal candidate must possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in business/hospitality management or equivalent. 
• A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in a multi-unit operations position with accountability for sales and people management. 
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and motivate employees at all levels.
• Sound management level planning, directing, leading and controlling skills.
• The ability to formulate, analyze and present financial data.
• Strong work ethic coupled with good organizational skills.
