Overview

The Architecture Draftsman is responsible for creating technical drawings and plans under the guidance of architects, engineers. This includes creating sketches, layouts and specifications of details drawings using specialized software. The Draftsman is a crucial member ofche project team and construction process by producing accurate and clear drawings that facilitate the realization of architectural or engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed architectural drawings, plans, and layouts using Revitcto include dimensions, specifications, materials, and construction methods based on architectural designs and project requirements.

• Collaborate with architects, designers and engineers to understand project requirements and translate conceptual designs into detailed drawings and construction documents.

• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness and ensure adherence to relevant codes and industry quality standards. 

• Maintain and organize drawing files, revisions and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure all drawings and documents are up to date and accessible to project stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an architecture draftsman or similar role.
• Proficiency in CAD software Revit
• Familiarity with architectural drafting standards and practices.
• Strong technical drawing skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations and construction methods.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
