Application Specialist

Responsible for managing and optimizing the ERP application ecosystem at LHG. This role combines technical expertise with business process knowledge to drive efficiency and innovation across our print management systems while serving as a key liaison between users, vendors, and IT teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Application Leadership

• Act as the primary architect and subject matter expert for the ERP application ecosystem, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives.
• Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for ERP evolution
• Ensure robust system governance by managing user access, permissions, security protocols, and compliance standards.
• Proactively monitor application performance, driving system reliability and scalability while identifying opportunities for innovation.
• Collaborate with technology vendors to influence feature development, roadmaps, and new technology adoption.
• Partner with IT leadership to implement cloud-based solutions and enhance system interoperability across business units.

Digital Process Optimization

• Lead digital transformation initiatives to streamline workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and eliminate manual bottlenecks.
• Leverage system capabilities to design and implement automated solutions that address evolving business needs, in keeping with best practice and industry standards
• Evaluate, map, and optimize data flows between integrated applications to ensure seamless connectivity and real-time insights.
• Drive continuous improvement through analysis of system performance, user feedback, and industry trends.
• Build and maintain comprehensive process documentation, ensuring alignment with agile and lean principles.
• Present actionable insights and technology-driven recommendations to executive leadership, supported by robust data analytics.

User Enablement & Technology Adoption

• Develop and deliver an ongoing forward-thinking training program for existing and new users.
• Provide advanced technical support and serve as a liaison between end users and IT teams, ensuring fast resolution of issues.
• Create intuitive user guides, knowledge bases, and self-service resources, SME Team to enhance user autonomy.
• Lead change management initiatives to drive successful adoption of new system functionalities and upgrades.

Required hands-on, technical or other types of training to perform the job:

• 3+ years experience with ERP/MIS systems
• Strong understanding of XML
• Experience with data integration and API technologies
• Proficiency in SQL and report writing tools including Power BI
• Experience with a programming language, such as Python, JASON, etc.
