The Administrative Assistant/Driver is responsible for providing administrative support to Head Office in Georgetown.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Administration:
Performs general administrative duties daily including but not limited to: photocopying, mailing, filing, scanning etc.
Prepares, proof reads, edits and modifies draft documents, official letters, memos and meeting minutes.
Logs and routes all correspondence to respective parties.
Maintains hard copy and electronic filing systems to facilitate easy retrieval and proper record keeping in-keeping with the company’s standards.
Verifies and accurately enters information on the insurance system-SOLIS ensuring all fields and relevant data is captured.
Produces policy documents, certificates and any other relevant documents.
Welcomes customers/visitors to the company and handles incoming and outgoing calls in keeping with the service standards.
Monitors inventory of stationery and office supplies.
Driver:
1. Routinely provide courier/driver duties to Premier Insurance, Head Office and supporting branches.
2. Conducts financial transactions, which include but not limited to: NIS payments, court payments and bank deposits.
3. Collects and delivers all packages and correspondence securely. Accurately recording all info in the delivery logs and updating same when task is completed.
4. Clears all relevant mail boxes and handles the postage of all letters.
5. Conducts basic maintenance checks on company’s vehicle, maintains vehicle log and reports any repairs needed or damage done to vehicle to the General Manager or his designate.
6. Performs personal driver duties to the Managing Director in accordance with appropriate road safety standards.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 5 CXC passes including English and Mathematics
At least one (3) year experience in a similar capacity.
