Accounts Receivables Agent

The Receivables Agent is responsible for managing refunds and credit card chargebacks in accordance with established procedures. This role also includes updating customer accounts with payments received, ensuring accurate application of receipts and working closely with various departments to secure revenue and maintain financial accuracy.

Core Responsibilities:

• Refund Management:
  • Verify the validity of refund requests submitted.
  • Cancel reservations in booking system.
  • Submit approved refunds for processing back to the customer’s original payment method (e.g., credit card, bank account).
  • Run cancellation report from booking system and adjust in Accounting System.

• Chargeback Handling:
  • Respond promptly to credit card chargeback queries with the necessary supporting documentation.

• Receivables and Payments:
  • Apply payments to receivables
  • Investigate and resolve outstanding balances on aging reports

• Commission and Expense Management:
  • Prepare commission reports.
  • Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations and post related expenses.

• Reporting and Compliance:
  • Prepare and submit daily refund report.
  • Maintain accurate filing and record retention
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and procedures.

• Team Collaboration:
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to team discussions

Qualification & Experience:

• Associate Degree in Accounting or a related Business field.
• Preferably 1 year experience or knowledge in the related field- Not Mandatory
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
