The Accounts Receivables Manager has responsibility for the accounts receivable functions required for TE-Pins Limited and Mahoe Gaming. The role produces all relevant financial reports, maintains the integrity of accounts receivable, billing, credit management and integrity of inventory holding.
The Accounts Receivables Manager has responsibility for the accounts receivable functions required for Transactions E-Pins Limited and Mahoe Gaming. As such the role produces all relevant financial reports, maintains the integrity of accounts receivable, billing, credit management and integrity of inventory holding. The role works closely with the Senior Finance Manager (“SFM” and the Finance team in Jamaica and reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
Duties & Essential Job Functions:
1.To provide the recharge, billing, collection for Jamaica;
2.Monitoring account receivables and reporting on retailers accounts.
3.Manage the team to deliver on the AR KPI’s for the market.
4.Provide reconciliation of bad debt accounts to drive collections.
5.Communicates the status of delinquent accounts to the appropriate personnel with actions takenandrecommendations for further action
6.Visit delinquent retailers to make arrangements for outstanding payments
7.Promptly handle customer queries, investigate and respond to discrepancies and adjustments to maintain a cordialrelationship with company’s retailers.
8.Prepare daily, weekly and month-end reports for Jamaica in the format that may be requested from time to time bythe Chief Operations Officer.
9.Deliver a ‘no-surprises’ approach to reporting by ensuring that all potential issues are highlighted on a timely basisincluding suggestions and plans for how these issues should be resolved;
10.Prepare the general ledger reconciliations for Jamaica for billing and associated accounts and make these availableto the SFM on a monthly basis. This includes timely follow-up and resolution of reconciling items;
11.Demonstrate and take ownership for the implementation and operation of sound working accounts receivable andcredit management processes and controls as they relate to Jamaica;
12.To accept and demonstrate ownership and responsibility for Jamaica’s customer collection activities includingregular weekly and monthly cash flow forecasting;
13.Identify and recommend operational improvements both in terms of financial policy and processes as well assystem based improvements and controls;
14.Provide training and assistance to other members of the Jamaica Finance AR team;
15.Where possible seek to improve the quality of Jamaica finance resources by promoting sound financial managementand operational practices;
16.Maintain confidentiality and professionalism around all information and data that this position may be privy to;
17.Demonstrate a willingness to work outside of core hours as may be required from time to time at the request ofthe COO.
18.Take on any other reasonable tasks to ensure the smooth running of the Jamaica operations or wider financefunction as may be requested or deemed fit by the COO.

Qualifications Required
• Accounting Degree (or accepted equivalent from an overseas body).
• At least 7 years commercial experience at a Supervisory/Managerial level- preferably in a manufacturing and/or stock based organisation – focusing on preparation, interpretation and reporting of monthly financial results (including budget versus variance analysis).
