Accounts Receivable Clerk (1 Year-Contract)

Our client is seeking a competent Accounts Receivable Clerk, to ensure that the company receives payment for services offered to Client Organizations.

JOB OPPORTUNITY

Accounts Receivable Clerk (1-Year Contract)

Location: Port-of-Spain

Remuneration: $6,500.00 per month

Education and Experience:

• Minimum Five (5) CSEC passes including Maths, English and Accounting
• At least two years’ experience in the Finance/Receivables field
• Computer literate.  Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
• Experience in QuickBooks or other accounting software will be considered as asset
• Must have access to a vehicle

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Invoices from source documents
• Ensure remittance advice is received from Customer Organizations and filed accordingly
• Completes all assigned collections activities and submits weekly reports to the Accountant
• Collect cheques from Customer Organizations in a timely manner
• Meets with Customer Organizations to negotiate settlement of outstanding invoices within the agreed timeframe
• Filing of all documents within the Finance Unit
• Other related duties as requested
