Are you an organized and detail-oriented accounting professional looking for an opportunity to grow? WHIM Development Company Limited is seeking a qualified Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong grasp of accounting principles and are willing to accept a 1 year contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoices for inventory, equipment, goods, and services with accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure vendors are paid according to agreed credit terms.
• Maintain electronic and paper-based files for paid and pending invoices.
• Communicate with Procurement and Administrative Managers to verify purchase approvals.
• Conduct regular store visits as part of accounts verification.

What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications & Experience:

• BSc in Accounting, ACCA Foundation, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of accounting and accounts payable principles.
• Accurate data entry skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively.
• Strong relationship-building skills with vendors and suppliers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
