The Account Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks. The primary role includes managing financial records, preparing reports, and assisting the accounting team in ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoicing & Billings
- Inventory Management
- Process accounts receivable in a timely manner.
- Maintain financial records, including daily transactions and ledgers.
- Prepare invoices, handle billing issues, and follow up on overdue payments.
- Perform data entry for accounting software and maintain accounting databases.
- Assist in audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
- Provide support to the accounting team during month-end and year-end closing.
- Handle queries related to accounts and finances from internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an account clerk, or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
