We are seeking to employ the services of a young, energetic and vibrant Accounting Clerk to assist with streamlining and improving the performance of our growing accounting team.

A highly successfully local company, which operates in the retail industry with in excess of forty-two years of rich history is seeking the services of an Accounting Clerk. 

We are seeking to employ the services of a young, energetic and vibrant Accounting Clerk to assist with streamlining and improving the performance of our growing accounting team. The ideal candidate will be required and should posses the following attributes, experience and qualifications below:

Characteristics:

• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate at all level with a very high degree of confidence.
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and highly meticulous
• Strong integrity.
• Ability to work under significant account of pressure when meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work on at Saturdays—one per fortnight.
• Excellent mathematical background.
• Very good problem solver.
• Ability exercise good judgment and the use of initiative where necessary.

Experience

The following below are the ideal experiences of the Accounting Clerk

• Have work and able to work in a fast-moving retail environment.
• At least 2-3 years of accounting experience.
• Have worked in an inventory environment in the past.
• Experience with working on very small teams.
• Knowledge of accounting and payroll software.
• Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

The following are the minimum qualifications of the Accounting Clerk:

• 4-5 CAPE subjects
• A degree in accounting would be consider a plus
