Accounting Clerk

The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed records of all cane farming activities. The Accounting Clerk will assist with the maintenance of the company’s financial records and provide administrative support to the Farm Supervisor as directed.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare accurate and detailed expenditure spreadsheet for all fields
• Create and maintain detailed records of all field and farm activities
• Prepare monthly expenditure report for each field  
• Provide administrative support for cane farming projects
• Assist with reconciliation of general ledger entries
• Assist with data entry for accounts payable journals and general ledgers
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports for each farm
• Prepare field valuation report on weekly basis
• Assist with preparation of annual cane farming budget
• Prepare summary of journal entry for posting in accounting system (Epicor)
• Assist with the preparation of weekly payroll for Farm contract workers
• Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor
