The Accounting Associate manages client financial records, including preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and bookkeeping tasks. The Associate ensures all documentation complies with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the Associate provides support to senior accountants by conducting financial analysis and assisting to deliver accurate financial insights to clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare tax returns, payments, necessary paperwork, and reports.
• Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions.
• Manage and maintain the company’s Client tax database.
• Determine tax savings and recommend strategies to improve profits.
• Ensure you comply with regulations by forwarding required information to local authorities.
• Offer support and guidance during Client Tax audits.
• Evaluate tax regulations and suggest policies that diminish the Clients' tax burden.
• Keep track of industry trends and changes related to taxes.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual tax reports.
SKILLS
• Good understanding of MS Office and accounting software.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping processes.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• At least three (3) years’ experience with minimum of ACCA Level II or CAT Certification.
• Proven experience in the accounting or professional services industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
