The position holder will be required to perform an array of Accounting duties ensuring that it is carried out in accordance with its generally accepted policy and procedures.
The Accounting Assistant will be responsble for performing an array of accounting duties such as data entry, managing the accounts payables/receivables and prepares weekly payroll.
Minimum academic qualification
Five G.C.E O’ Level/C.X.C Subjects including Mathematics and Principles of Accounting
Level 2 CAT/ Level 1 ACCA
Minimum number of years in experience
Two (2) years in the accounting environment
Specific Skills
Computer Literacy- Excel or Access
Working Knowledge of Sage accounting software
The ability to work with minimum supervision.
