Accounting Analyst, New Kingston

Position Purpose:

Ensure that the company's financial processes are complied with according to the regulations and standards established by the laws of Jamaica.

 

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance

Must have experience with (SAP) Accounting System

Two years experience in similar position

 

Responsibilities:

1. Receive invoices from suppliers.

2. Record the invoices received by the company.

3. Responsible for the company's petty cash.

4. Records the company's accounts payable and receivable.

5. Carry out bank reconciliations.

6. Make payments to suppliers.

7. Make monthly depreciation and amortization entries.

8. Perform the accounting closings.

9. Keeps dealers' accounts receivable up to date.

10. Supervise the work of the cashier.

11. Performs the cashier's daily balancing and presents it to the manager for validation.
12. Send bank deposits.
13. Verify and confirm to sellers about deposits or transfers made by the customer.
14. Quote and buy products according to the company's needs.
15. Register the details and information of the suppliers in the system.
16. Records credit notes.
17. Maintains direct communication with the financial management.
18. Prepares reports, analyses and comments related to the behavior of the company's finances.
19. Keeps in orderly files the records and documentary supports of the financial operations of the enterprise.
20. Performs any other function for the purpose or complementary that is requested by his/her immediate superior.
21. Meets the individual goals assigned to them and the commitments that they entail according to the nature of the position.
