The Accounting/Administrative Clerk position involves verifying daily account balances, updating and reconciling the cashier's log, monitoring transactions, and providing support to the Accounts Department.

Key Responsibilities
Perform daily verification of account balances and identify variances.
Update the daily cashier's log,including deposits and withdrawals, reconcile these to account balances.
Monitor the system for in-process transactions and ensure timely updates.
Provide support services to the Accounts Department to facilitate the achievement of departmental goals and objectives.
Assist with date entry and the maintenance of financial records.
Prepare financial summaries as required
Qualification & Education
Level 1 ACCA or CAT or equivalent
Previous experience in general business operations an accounting environment
Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
Knowledge of Peachtree accounting software would be an asset
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
