To perform accounting and clerical tasks in order to efficiently maintain and process accounting transactions in accordance with the mission and goals of the department.

Provide quality customer service to the ownership group and its constituents while practicing responsible stewardship of resources. Provide quality customer service – we are a support function to the field; the cash register rings at the properties, we are a field support office. Monitor enhancements to the current financial system and seek new technological processes resulting in improved efficiencies and cost savings. Effective communication with personnel.

 

Essential Functions

  • Assign invoices for approval
  • Submit approved invoices to ERP
  • Assist with setting up payment for vendors
  • Respond to vendor inquiries
  • Set up new vendors in ERP

 

Supportive Functions

  • Other duties, as assigned by the VP or Controller.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Job Qualifications  

    • Proficiency with general office PC applications (i.e. word processing, excel spreadsheets, databases).
  • Demonstrate sound organizational, coordinating and personal interface skills.
  • Capable of using independent judgment/solid decision making skills.
  • Activator/self-motivated to accomplish goals, with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication and attention to detail.  
 

Education and Formal Training

  • High school diploma or GED required.  Associate degree preferred.

Scheduling

  • 35-40 hours per week on average
  • Schedule is typically ranging  Monday- Friday from 7am CST to 7pm CST.
