The individual will be required to supervise employees in the Accounting Department and will be responsible for performing budgetary analysis and preparation of financial reports in keeping with FPATT’s financial policies and guidelines.

The individual will be required to supervise employees in the Accounting Department and will be responsible for performing budgetary analysis and preparation of financial reports in keeping with FPATT’s financial policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain systems to provide financial statements, monthly financial reports and variance analysis. 
  • Establish the budgeting methodologies and estimates for the preparation of budgets and projections. 
  • Prepare budgets to support project proposals to donor agencies. 
  • Prepare detailed costing schedules and output levels for FPATT’s services/procedures and the calculation of the respective standard operating costs and benchmarks. 
  • Record and safeguard the Association’s assets. 
  • Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance. 
  • Provide technical support and advice on management.

Qualification and Experience 

  • Professional Qualification: ACCA, CIMA or equivalent. 
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in a similar position. 
  • At least three years supervisory experience will be an asset. 
  • Experience in fund accounting will be an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective communication, strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
